  • The Research Centre for Family Enterprises is the first research centre for family businesses at a public university in Germany. Within this research body, there are seven law and seven economics departments acting together and possessing a high level of expert knowledge on various topics relevant to family enterprises of different size.
  • The Research Centre for Family Enterprises also collaborates with other similarly oriented research centres and institutions of the University of Bayreuth, in particular with the Business Administration Research Centre for questions of the SME sector (BF / M) at the University of Bayreuth.
  • Comprising over 50 professors and research associates, the Research Centre for Family Enterprises offers a unique competence pool for family-owned enterprises. Its aim is to support family-owned enterprises in the variety of aspects of corporate law and corporate governance. This often requires a cross-disciplinary approach that takes into account both legal and economic aspects.
  • For this purpose, the Research Centre for Family Enterprises at the University of Bayreuth offers the necessary experience and expertise – it is your Research Centre for Family Enterprises!
