Holder of the Chair of Strategic Management and Organization at the University of Bayreuth

The research focus of Prof. Dr. Bouncken includes the innovation, diversity and cooperation management. These issues play an important role for family enterprises.

   
Prof. Dr. Torsten Eymann
Holder of the Chair of Business Information Systems at the University of Bayreuth

Prof. Eymann does research on concepts of stability-promoting control mechanisms. Thereby the focus lies on distributed information systems in economical application areas with real-time requirement. He is also the president of the Business Research Centre for Questions of Medium-sized Enterprises at the University of Bayreuth (BF/M-Bayreuth).

Holder of the Chair of International Accounting at the University of Bayreuth; tax consultant

Prof. Fülbier is an expert on national and international accounting (German Commercial Code, German Accounting Law Modernization Act, International Financial Reporting Standards ), also with reference to family enterprises.

Prof. Kühlmann´s research focus lies, among other things, on the transnational enterprises´ networks, social capital and trust as well as the contingence models of personnel management at a multinational place of employment.

   

Prof. Dr. Reinhard Meckl
Holder of the Chair of International Management at the University of Bayreuth

The research foci of Prof. Meckl are international Mergers & Acquisitions, strategies of Emerging Multinational Corporations (EMNCs) and the management of foreign companies, especially in the Asian region (China).

   
Prof. Dr. Klaus Schäfer
Holder of the Chair of Finance and Banking at the University of Bayreuth

Prof. Schäfer has a focus on issues of risk management and company financing. He is also a member of the executive board of the Business Research Centre for Questions of Medium-sized Enterprises at the University of Bayreuth.

   

Prof. Dr. Jörg Schlüchtermann
Holder of the Chair of Production Management and Industrial Economics at the University of Bayreuth

Mid-sized enterprises constitute an essential research focus of Prof. Schlüchtermann. He does research on an area which is of high relevance for a number of enterprises.

   
Prof. Dr. Stefan Seifert
Holder of the Chair of Technology and Innovation Management at the University of Bayreuth

Prof. Dr. Seifert focuses on interdisciplinary questions of strategic management in technology businesses. These include for example the cross-company development of complex technological products, the procurement of technology assets, the influence of the State’s regulations towards innovation activities in conjunction with a sustainable economic activity as well as the structural development of medium-sized companies.

Prof. Dr. Jochen Sigloch
Emeritus of the Chair of Business Taxation at the University of Bayreuth

Prof. Sigloch deals with questions of business taxation. He is a member of the commission “Business Taxation” in the association of the professors of Business Administration (registered association).
